A lot of people we talk to are taking a wait and see approach to the employee free choice act. With the election exactly 6 weeks away and Obama showing a slight lead in all the polls we track, here is how the Republican Senate races stand. All other races look to remain in incumbent control.
New Hampshire – Democrat leads by double digits
Virginia – Democrat leads by double digits
North Carolina – Democrat holds 6 point lead
Minnesota – Dead heat
Oregon – Dead heat
Alaska – Democrat holds single digit lead
New Mexico – Democrat holds solid lead
Mississippi – Republican holds 4 point lead
Georgia – Republican holds 6 point lead
Obviously there is some time left, but this does not look favorable for companies wanting to protect their direct relationship with employees.
