Many folks still seem to doubt the disdain that unions have for employers. Let this little tidbit serve as a reminder. Union employees at a GM plant in Kansas City, Kansas, fought for and won the right to wear t-shirts describing their work location as a “penitentiary,” and themselves as “inmates.”
In another interesting ploy, union employees at a print shop sabotaged an order of bumper stickers intended for GOP candidates. When Waymaker Communications contracted part of the job out to another print shop, several employees decided to leave their “mark” on the order by adding a label stating, “Sign Display. Painters and Allied Trades, No. 1 Local 820.”
