House of Representative Votes on Tribal Sovereignty

The Tribal Labor Sovereignty Act of 2015 hits the House of Representatives this week. If approved, the measure will prevent the NLRB from wrongfully interfering in Native American affairs. The main assertion behind the proposal is: “Tribal leaders should be free to set labor policies they determine are best for their workplaces.” We will keep you posted on the outcome.
