In an effort to stymie the aggressive regulatory action by the NLRB, Rep. Benjamin Quayle (R-AZ) has introduced a bill to repeal it. The Employee Workplace Freedom Act (H.R. 2833) would repeal the bill, and prevent the board from creating “any rule that requires employers to post notices relating to” the NLRA.
Even though the winds of public opinion are blowing against the NLRB, it is unlikely that there are enough votes to push this bill through both houses of Congress.
