What Others are Saying

Always interested in hearing how the Forced Choice Act is progressing. I realy do not like allowing unions access to employees on company property.

I would suggest making this information louder and more often. If enough of this info had been disemminated sooner, we may not be facing this situation today. Keep up the good work.

Breaking: Members of Congress Issue Spanking to NLRB Acting General Counsel

UPDATE: The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is also getting into the Act. This letter includes an extensive document request for: 1) materials referring or relating to investigation of Boeing including communications between the office and the NLRB; 2) documents, emails, call logs and communications between the office, NLRB and the International Association of Machinists, the union representing certain Boeing workers; 3) documents, emails, call logs and communications between the office, NLRB and Boeing; and, 4) documents referring or relating to the office’s investigations of union election laws in Arizona, South Carolina, South Dakota and Utah.

Looks like some long weekends coming up in the Acting General Counsel’s office.

Original post follows…

Today, Republican Members of the House Education and the Workforce Committee demanded the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) end its job-destroying activist agenda. In a letter to NLRB Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon, members describe a number of actions by the Obama labor board that call into question the objectivity and credibility of the office, including the NLRB’s most recent effort to force The Boeing Company to relocate a South Carolina assembly line to Washington.

As the Republican members note, “Taken together, your actions threaten future economic growth and job creation and reflect an unsavory culture of union favoritism. We demand you cease your bureaucratic activism immediately and restore the objectivity that is essential to the effectiveness and credibility of the General Counsel’s office.”

Education and the Workforce Republican signees include:

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC)
Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC)
Rep. Duncan D. Hunter (R-CA)
Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI)
Rep. Todd Rokita (R-IN)
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC)
Rep. Kristi Noem (R-SD)
Rep. Martha Roby (R-AL)
Rep. Dennis Ross (R-FL)
Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA)
