AFL-CIO Redefines Wide

by | Jun 22, 2011 | Uncategorized

The AFL-CIO issued a press release today entitled Proposed NLRB Rule Change Draws Wide Support and then goes on to make that point with quotes from this list of supporters — IBEW Pres. Edwin Hill, CWA Pres. Larry Cohen, AFT Pres. Randi Weingarten, the United Steelworkers,  Nancy Pelosi, Tom Harkin, John Kerry, Harry Reid, Patty Murray, Barbara Mikulski, Al Franken, Jeff Merkley, George Miller, former NLRB member (and current AFL-CIO counsel) Sarah Fox, American Rights at Work director Kimberly Freeman Brown, John Podesta, NAACP Pres. Benjamin Jealous and Kim Bobo, director of Interfaith Worker Justice. Once Michael Moore weighs in we can consider support for the changes unanimous.
